About Michael PURTELL
Michael Purtell has over 10 years of experience in construction and project management. Mr. Purtell specializes in project management oversight, schedule delays, engineering and construction claims, and design and construction deficiencies. Mr. Purtell performs damage quantification assessments associated with schedule delays, labor productivity, construction defects, and changes in work scope, among other issues. He also provides analysis of construction drawings, specifications, and procedures, and evaluates repair and recovery costs associated with defective work. His portfolio includes projects in the oil & gas, marine, industrial, infrastructure/transportation, energy, commercial, and residential sectors. With both domestic and international experience as a piping field engineer, project manager, subcontract administrator, and civil superintendent, Mr. Purtell provides unique insight into project delivery, project cost and schedule analysis, planning, procurement, and change order management. Mr. Purtell has successfully assisted in the evaluation and resolution of construction disputes and has been designated as an expert providing testimony and assisting with research for expert testimony in State and Federal courts, mediations, and international arbitrations. Mr. Purtell holds a Bachelors of Science in Construction Management from the University of Wisconsin.
