About Jesse RITTENHOUSE
Mr. Jesse Rittenhouse turned his career in consulting and his passion for sustainability into a leadership role with one of the most prestigious sustainable building consulting firms in the world, Spinnaker Group, a Division of SOCOTEC. He has consulted with developers, architects, building owners, and design and construction teams to achieve LEED certifications on dozens of projects and types, from office buildings to airports, retail to hospitality, core & shell to commercial interiors, and new construction to existing buildings. Notable achievements include the first LEEDv4.1 Platinum O+M Higher Education project in the World, the first LEED Platinum Orthodontics/Dental Clinic in the World, and the first LEED Platinum Office Building in Coral Gables, Florida.
Jesse has brought Spinnaker Group, a Division of SOCOTEC to the forefront of carbon accounting and reduction strategies in the Florida market by becoming a Life-Cycle Analysis Consultant in 2017 and leading the Whole-Building Life-Cycle Assessments for projects. In addition, he is helping to lead the effort to create a regenerative world as a Living Future Accredited professional helping clients and educating the marketplace about Living Building Challenge, Net Zero Carbon, and Net Zero Energy certifications.
For 14 years now, Jesse has led nonprofit sustainability organizations, USGBC Miami, Living Future Florida Collaborative, Dream In Green, and Net Impact Professional Chapter of South Florida.

Jesse Rittenhouse is a Director of Strategy at SOCOTEC and has held various other positions within the organization since 2016. Prior to his current position, Mr. Rittenhouse was Vice President of Strategy at Spinnaker Group, Inc. which was acquired by SOCOTEC in 2023. Prior to his time at SOCOTEC, Mr. Rittenhouse was previously Project Consultant at Southern Biodiesel.
