About Jennifer SZE
Ms. Sze is committed to integrating building envelope with energy efficiency. She works closely with developers, owners, and architects to develop high-performing facade systems that meet their intent and project constraints, as well as the industry’s most stringent criteria (e.g. Passivehouse).
She approaches projects with a sense of practicality that draws from seeing firsthand how buildings get built, from her days on construction sites as an inspector. She thinks holistically in her consulting to provide high level impact, combining expertise in performance, aesthetic, constructibility, cost, etc., as well as the commercial aspect of the facade. Within a few years she became Director of Special Inspections (SIA) at SOCOTEC and now oversees the firm’s quality assurance operations over a team of more than 50 inspectors and supervisors.

Jennifer SZE is a Principal and heads the Building & Real Estate business at SOCOTEC and has held various other positions within the organization since 2009. Prior to her current position, Ms. SZE was a Principal & Director of Special Inspections at Vidaris, Inc., formerly Israel Berger & Associates, which was acquired by SOCOTEC in 2019. Ms. SZE was previously employed at TMT Restoration Consultants, LTD.
