Bill Bast will be presenting 'The Residences at Water Tower Place - Marble Façade Restoration' Friday 11/4 - This case study will examine the marble bowing and strength loss of this iconic building, provide analysis of the stone test results and stress distribution in the marble panels, describe wind tunnel testing procedures, provide the methodology to determine successful repair techniques, and evaluate the façade through closehand observations and material testing almost 20 years after the initial evaluation.
