About Jarad KRIZ

Jarad Kriz is a Senior Principal of SOCOTEC and previously the founding/managing member of Construction Project Analytics Group, LLC (CPAG) - a SOCOTEC Company, a professional consulting firm specializing in in planning, scheduling, schedule and contract management, project controls and the analysis of performance-related aspects of construction projects which include schedule, cost and productivity. Mr. Kriz is a recognized expert in planning and scheduling, estimating, labor productivity analysis, and construction management. Mr. Kriz has been qualified as an expert in Federal, State and Circuit Courts, Agency Boards, ADR Institutes of Canada, ICC and AAA Arbitration, and European Court Systems.

Prior to founding CPAG, Mr. Kriz was a Senior Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s (FTI) Construction and Environmental Solutions practice based in the Washington DC area from September 2006 through December 2013.

Prior to the acquisition of his firm by FTI, Mr. Kriz was a principal and one of the founding members of Brower, Kriz & Stynchcomb, LLC (BKS), a recognized leader in the field of construction project management, CPM scheduling and dispute resolution from 1985 to 2006. Before founding BKS, Mr. Kriz was employed as a Project Engineer with Research Cottrell, Planning and Scheduling Engineer and Superintendent for Crouse Engineering and Construction and Babcock and Wilcox, both of which specialized power plant and industrial construction and retrofit.

Mr. Kriz received a Graduate Certificate from Boston Architectural College in Sustainable Building Construction and Design, a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Alabama in Applied Sciences and an Associates of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. In addition, Mr. Kriz has served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association on several construction disputes. Mr. Kriz has over 35 years’ experience in project controls, construction management, CPM scheduling and dispute resolution throughout the world including the United States, Canada, South America (Venezuela and Peru), Central America (Costa Rica), Caribbean Islands, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. This experience included cost estimating, project management, extra work pricing and negotiation, schedule analysis, and productivity analysis on hundreds of projects.

Prior to his current position, Mr. KRIZ was a Founding Partner at Construction Project Analytics Group, LLC which was acquired by SOCOTEC in 2019.  Mr. KRIZ was previously employed at FTI Consulting and Brower, Kriz & Stynchcomb.
