Condominiums

  • ASIA Brickell Key Condominium Tower – Miami, Florida​
    • Mr. Daugette performed scheduling services for the contractor for this 44-story residential tower already underway.  The luxurious nature of the project and unusual architectural features required very exacting sequencing of activities in order to have a useful and functional schedule.  After his site visit and study of the project, the existing schedule was modified and completed with additional activities and logic for MEP trades and exterior finishes, as well as the addition of the entire two-story lobby and porte cochere areas and high finishes.​

Cultural / Entertainment / Sports

  • New World Symphony – Miami Beach, Florida​
    • Frank Gehry’s $154M symphony hall was a very challenging project with many innovative features.  Mr. Daugette assisted the contractor in scheduling the project, which had many challenging spaces and interrelated features and technological features.  Mr. Daugette studied the project extensively and incorporated the detailed sequencing and activities necessary to help the contractor with submitting a bid on this project.​
  • Philips Arena – Atlanta, Georgia​
    • With substantial damages stemming from a delay to this project, the home of the professional hockey team, Mr. Daugette performed an extensive as-built analysis from the available records.  His report, which laid out the results and conclusions of the analysis demonstrating the source of the delay and allowing the parties to settle this dispute.​

    • Mr. Daugette performed detailed analyses on the sequence and as-built nature of the project, focusing especially the delay involving the masonry portion of the project.  As-earned and productivity analysis were performed to demonstrate how the masonry progressed.  Armed with this analysis, the parties were able to resolve the dispute.​

  • North American Stainless – Ghent, Kentucky​
    • Mr. Daugette performed detailed analyses on labor and as-built construction in support of a dispute between the owner and contractor.  Very detailed studies and charts were developed to demonstrate what happened on the project and the sequence of events.  These demonstratives illustrated the development of critical work, clearly showing the causation for the delays and resulted in a favorable decision by the arbitration board.​

  • 13th Side Road and Port Ryerse Solar Projects – Toronto, Ontario​
    • A delay dispute on these combined 19MW DC projects required detailed knowledge of the engineering and construction involved in the projects.  Mr. Daugette undertook an extensive analysis of the issues and actual construction to produce delay analyses and as-built schedules to enable the client to successfully settle the dispute.​
  • Keys Energy Center – Prince George’s County, Maine​
  • Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating Facility – San Bernadino, California​
  • MidAmerican Energy Center - Council Bluffs, Iowa​
    • In support of a dispute on this 790MW coal-fired energy plant, Mr. Daugette performed several in-depth analyses, including delay analysis, labor analysis, and schedule critical path analysis.  This major project required very intense as-built construction from very detailed daily reports and other records. ​
  • Vogtle Nuclear Plant – Augusta, Georgia​
    • A delay dispute on these combined 19MW DC projects required detailed knowledge of the engineering and construction involved in the projects.  Mr. Daugette undertook an extensive analysis of the issues and actual construction to produce delay analyses and as-built schedules to enable the client to successfully settle the dispute.​
  • Westvaxco Cogeneration Power Facility – Florence, South Carolina​
    • In this dispute over delays to the 99MW coal-fired power station, Mr. Daugette supported a successful pre-trial settlement of the case by performing extensive analyses of the project.  Very detailed as-builts of the piping and electrical work were required to demonstrate the progress of the work and allow the causation to be known by the parties​

 

Transportation

  • I-4 Interstate Project -  Orlando, Florida ​
  • Tren Urbano Heavy Rail Transit – San Juan, Puerto Rico ​
    • The “third” section of this rail project in Puerto Rico involved the design and construction of an on-grade rail line, numerous bridges, facility support buildings, and two passenger stations.  The rail line required mass excavation, grading, and base prior to laying track and installing control systems.  Mr. Daugette performed a detailed as-built analysis to assist in resolving the actual delays to the project.
