About Ali HEKMAFTAR, Ph.D., PE
As Principal Engineer, Dr. Hekmatfar coordinates and supervises all technical and administrative functions for the SOCOTEC Austin office. Dr. Hekmatfar has performed and managed material testing, inspection, and geotechnical engineering evaluations for various public and private works projects including large commercial and public developments, various independent school districts new construction, renovation, public federal, cities, counties, and municipalities roadways pavements reconstruction and rehabilitations, large multi-family construction, subdivisions developments, airport, water/wastewater Treatment plants, and higher education.
He has significant experience in asphaltic materials, construction, pavement design methods and rehabilitation, material inspection/testing problem solving, earthwork operations, soil treatment, and construction phase geotechnical services. He provides supervision and technical support for both geotechnical and construction services.
