With rapid population growth in northwest Harris County and increased demand for effective transportation infrastructure, mobility out to Tomball and surrounding communities has long been challenging due to heavy trafficToll roads have become essential in the region as residents seek more efficient routes across the greater Houston area. The $130 million Tomball Tollway extends the 4-lane tollway corridor in each direction, adding new 3-lane frontage roads and incorporating five major bridges and flood-mitigating storm water detention.

Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, delivered construction materials testing services to support safe and compliant execution of the Tomball Tollway Project, ensuring the quality and performance of materials used throughout the scope of work, including infrastructure components. 

Our scope included providing full time observation and testing services for all structural concrete elements, slurry testing, aggregate testing for drilled piers ranging from 36-inches to 92-inches in diameter and from 30 to 80 feet in depth.
