About Anthony Lizzy
As a Principal Geologist, Mr. Lizzi specializes in soil and groundwater investigations of complex sites impacted by soil, soil gas, and groundwater contamination. His expertise includes soil and groundwater remediation, as well as the preparation and implementation of soil removal and remedial action plans.
His technical experience includes managing subsurface site investigations, supervising and conducting soil, groundwater, hazardous materials, and vapor sampling programs, and managing contaminated site remediation and permitting projects. He is also responsible for the senior technical review of environmental site assessment reports addressing soil and groundwater.
Mr. Lizzi has extensive experience working with city, county, and state regulatory agencies, including the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) and the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). He works with these agencies on behalf of clients to clarify the nature and extent of contamination, facilitate approval of remedial plans, support cleanup efforts, and obtain No Further Action (NFA) letters.
