About Bart BORYS

Mr. Bart Borys, Director OF Life Safety at SOCOTEC, has over 18 years of experience in NYC's Fire and Life Safety industry. He has worked closely with the FDNY and clients in both private and public sectors. Mr. Borys helps owners, developers, building managers, design professionals, master electricians, fire suppression contractors, and other firms bring fire alarm systems into compliance. He continues to dismiss thousands of FDNY/ECB violations. He has extensive experience resolving violations in buildings cited by FDNY and DOB. He provides permit expediting, project management, consultation, affidavits procurement, variance orders, satisfaction of violation orders, Fire Protection Plans, Fire Safety/Emergency Action Plans, and assistance with Temporary and permanent Certificate of Occupancies.​

Mr. Borys is familiar with all fire alarm and suppression systems used in NYC, including in-building auxiliary radio communication (ARC) systems and anhydrous sulfur dioxide (ANSUL) and other non-water fire suppression systems. He has provided expediting and inspection services to countless clients and is experienced with the installation and permitting of all related fire protection devices. ​
