About Marisa Harte
Ms. Marisa Harte is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 35 years of expertise in construction materials inspection, testing, design, and special inspections across a wide range of infrastructure and building projects. Licensed in 15 states with additional certifications, she is a recognized authority in special inspections, concrete, soil, asphalt pavements, and recycled aggregates.
Ms. Harte has held senior technical and leadership roles in both private firms and her own consultancy, with responsibilities including laboratory and field operations oversight, quality assurance, special inspections, and accreditation management. She is certified by ACI, NICET, and ICC–including the Master of Special Inspections designation–and is a known industry mentor and advocate, currently serving on the Concrete Industry Board of NYC.
Her career reflects a commitment to technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and elevating standards in construction materials engineering.

Professional Experience
Before joining SOCOTEC in 2025, Marisa Harte held senior leadership roles across the testing, inspection, and consulting industry. She spent several years at MT Group, an Intertek company, where she served as Principal Consultant and Director, following earlier experience as Vice President of Engineering within the firm’s materials testing laboratory. Prior to that, she was Laboratory Director at JC Broderick and Associates. She now brings decades of technical and operational expertise to SOCOTEC, supporting clients with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and laboratory services.
