A guide to Owner's Project Requirements

The Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR) represents a critical foundation in project delivery. The OPR defines and aligns the owner’s vision, priorities, and performance expectations—driving clarity, accountability, and informed decision-making from concept through construction.

During this workshop, attendees were able to:

  • Gain the ability to describe the purpose and functional parts of an Owner's Project Requirement (OPR).

  • Explore how the OPR can clarify and strengthen the design process.

  • Be able to illustrate what to include and what to leave out of an OPR.

  • Provide real-world examples of OPR provisions that saved time and heartache.

We partnered with AIA Miami and the Miami-Dade County Aviation Department to bring you valuable information.

Attendees received 1 AIA LU/HSW.
