The Challenge

Meeting the Demands of an Accelerated Construction Schedule

Newburgh, NY sits at a strategic crossroads for trucking distribution in the Northeastern United States, making it the ideal site for Matrix Development Group's 565,000-square-foot warehouse. The $72 million facility was designed to be split between two major tenants, each a leader in its own sector:

  • AmerisourceBergen, one of America's largest pharmaceutical sourcing and distribution companies

  • AmScan, the world's largest designer, manufacturer, and distributor of decorated party goods and accessories

Beyond its scale, the project carried an aggressive construction schedule: 12-hour days Monday through Friday, 10-hour days on Saturdays, and frequent Sunday shifts.

Sustaining that pace without compromising structural integrity, material quality, or code compliance demanded a testing and inspection partner capable of moving at the same speed as the construction crews — without ever cutting corners.
