Join SOCOTEC’s expert-led webinar to understand the evolving federal and state PFAS regulations, explore site assessment and remediation best practices, and learn how to manage environmental compliance, rising costs, and liability risks for your projects.
- Tuesday Dec 8ᵗʰ, 2026
- At 10:00 AM (PT) | 11:00 AM (MT) | 12:00 PM (CT) | 1:00 PM (ET)
- Presented by Anthony LIZZI and Dennis FEE
- Moderator: Brandon WILKEN
PFAS contamination is reshaping environmental compliance throughout the United States and worldwide, posing unique challenges due to its ubiquitousness in the human-built environment and its environmental persistence. Since early 2024, the United States Environmental Protection Agency enforced the first-ever Maximum Contaminant Limits for six PFAS compounds in drinking water and designated two compounds, PFOS and PFOA, as hazardous substances under CERCLA. This is while many states have implemented their own mandatory testing programs at airports and other industrial facilities and implemented strict AFFF phase-out rules.
In this webinar, our experts will unpack the United States federal and state-specific regulatory frameworks, waste disposal challenges, site assessment best practices, the latest remediation technologies, and online management tools. Through real-world case studies, we will show you how to navigate ever-evolving regulatory landscape, rising costs, and complex liability exposure before it impacts your projects.
