About Kai VEDENOJA
As Principal Engineer - Construction Services, Mr. Vedenoja is responsible for overseeing geotechnical observation, material testing and special inspection services. His duties include construction management support, coordination and QA/QC, supervision of field technicians, special inspectors and technical staff in interpreting project plans, specifications, and geotechnical evaluations for a variety of construction projects.
In addition, he is experienced in planning and executing geotechnical investigations, engineering analysis, preparation of geotechnical reports and specifications, performing soil classification and borehole logging, reviewing plans and specifications, inspecting and observing construction activities, and providing field support services for preliminary and in-grading geotechnical evaluations.

Kai VEDENOJA is a Principal Engineer at SOCOTEC, with more than 18 years of industry experience. He joined SOCOTEC in 2025 through the acquisition of Ninyo & Moore, where he spent over 14 years developing expertise in geotechnical, materials testing and special inspection services.
