About Sully CREVECOEUR
Mr. Crevecoeur is a nuclear engineering specialist with expertise in advanced reactor technologies, thermal-hydraulic systems, and mechanical design for complex energy infrastructure. As Director of Nuclear Engineering at SOCOTEC, he supports the development of innovative nuclear and energy systems, specializing in piping analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), failure mode assessment, cooling systems, and power distribution architectures.
Sully brings experience spanning engineering, research, and technology leadership in both startup and international environments. With a multidisciplinary background in nuclear engineering, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), thermal systems, and advanced manufacturing, Sully helps clients develop safe, reliable, and innovative solutions for the next generation of nuclear and clean energy projects.

Sully CREVECOEUR joined SOCOTEC in 2026 as Director of Nuclear Engineering. He has solid expertise in Nuclear Engineering, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Thermal-Hydraulics, Failure Mode Assessment, and Nuclear Safety & Licensing.
Prior to joining SOCOTEC, he served as CTO of a nuclear technology startup developing a compact reactor based on MIT research and led global nuclear market strategy for advanced sealing solutions used in terrestrial and space nuclear applications. He has also advised on nuclear safety, fusion, reactor technology, and energy policy as the CEA's Deputy Nuclear Counselor.
