SOCOTEC US Celebrates Multiple Principal Promotions Within Its Building Envelope Team
SOCOTEC is proud to announce the promotion of three employees to Principal within our Building Envelope teams on the East Coast, spanning our New York and Florida offices.
This growth is a testament to SOCOTEC's deep Building Envelope expertise and our dedication to providing high-quality solutions across the full lifecycle of buildings, from new construction to renovation. With our Building Envelope presence expanding along the East Coast, these new Principals represent the talent behind our clients' continued success.
William CALLAHAN, Principal - Roofing & Waterproofing (New York)
As leader of SOCOTEC’s Roofing and Waterproofing department, and with more than 11 years with the firm, Mr. William Callahan has inspected the field progress of roofing and waterproofing installations, has performed and assisted with leak investigations, repairs, re-roofs and new roof construction, and has prepared and reviewed construction documents for both existing buildings and new construction projects of various asset types.
Mamata MALLA, Principal (New York)
Ms. Mamata Malla’s 19 years of experience with existing buildings includes project management, construction administration, building stewardship, building condition assessment, and clientele. Ms. Malla has extensive knowledge in investigating, identifying critical issues, and devising innovative, cost-effective solutions in exterior restoration, waterproofing, roofing systems, historic & landmark preservation, and NYC FISP (Local Law 11/98). Her skills follow a building from its inception through its completion.
Christopher SARGENT, PE, Principal (Florida)
With over 14 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Christopher Sargent has gained tremendous experience performing construction materials testing, bulkhead/retaining wall evaluations and remediation oversight, roofing and waterproofing consulting/investigations, geotechnical, reserve and turnover studies, property condition assessments and forensic analysis of building materials, among other services. Much of Chris’ focus is on in-progress roof inspections, project oversight, roof evaluations and/or developing specifications and bid packages for both new construction and existing building commercial and residential projects.
It is so rewarding to see our people continue to grow and develop into leaders within our organization. These promotions recognize the hard work, expertise, and commitment they have demonstrated over the years.
