The Challenge 

Building a New High-Tech Corporate Headquarters

Mediacom, the fifth-largest cable television provider, selected Blooming Grove, New York, for the development of its new corporate headquarters. The project represented the relocation of the company’s headquarters and its pursuit of a corporate park designed to reflect the high-tech nature of its business.

The new 110,000-square-foot facility represented a $35 million construction investment and brought 250 jobs to the Hudson Valley.

With construction taking place over an 18-month period, the project required ongoing inspection and materials testing across multiple phases of construction. This included verification of soil and foundation conditions as well as inspection and testing associated with concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, structural steel, bolting, and welding.
