About Patrick KIERNAN
Mr. Patrick Kiernan manages, coordinates and supervises office and laboratory staff, maintains QSM and in-house QC, including required documentation and calibrations.
Patrick schedules SOCOTEC personnel and assigns staff and equipment to daily projects, while supervising laboratory and field operations. His responsibilities also include interfacing with clients, reviewing and revising daily reports, and overseeing and administering technician training procedures.
Patrick is a regular in-house trainer and teacher for employees and co-ops in a variety of technical areas including but not limited to: HMA Paving, HMA Density, and QC/QA Plant.

Patrick KIERNAN is a President, Asphalt Department Manager and Radiation Safety Officer at SOCOTEC, with more than 19 years of industry experience. He joined SOCOTEC through the acquisition of Advance Testing in 2025, where he developed extensive expertise in construction materials testing, inspection and laboratory materials testing.
