The Challenge
Redeveloping a Historic Catskills Resort Site
YO1 Wellness Resort & Spa was built on the 1,300-acre former Kutsher’s Country Club property, a site that had served as a Sullivan County resort destination for more than 100 years.
The $90 million development introduced a 260,000-square-foot wellness center designed around five disciplines: Ayurveda, nutrition, yoga, acupuncture, and nature cure.
LeChase Construction Services managed delivery of the facility, which was largely completed within approximately 18 months.
The combination of a major redevelopment site, a substantial building program, and an accelerated schedule required careful coordination throughout construction.
