New York City’s Façade Inspection & Safety Program (FISP) plays a critical role in protecting the public and preserving the city’s building stock.
As the program continues to evolve, building owners and project teams are expected to navigate increasingly detailed requirements, tighter timelines, and complex façade conditions.
This webinar offers a practical look at the history and intent behind Local Law 11, how inspection criteria have developed over time, and what the proposed changes in Cycle 11 could mean for future filings. Our specialists will explore common façade and wall systems, explain how materials age and perform, and share lessons learned from real projects that highlight frequent deficiencies and repair challenges.
Designed for owners, managers, and design professionals, this session focuses on clarity and foresight—helping you better understand compliance obligations, anticipate repair needs, and plan façade work with a long-term, informed perspective.
Participants will receive 1 AIA credit.
