About Emily BILLHEIMER
Ms. Emily Billheimer is one of SOCOTEC’s Sustainability Senior Project Managers with over 5 years of sustainability experience and 20 years of architecture design experience working on high-end architecture and interiors projects in Class A buildings. She has successfully completed multiple commercial interiors projects in over 20 cities and jurisdictions. In addition, Emily has experience managing complex teams that include coordination with multiple consultants.
Emily has a true understanding of commercial real estate, including leasing, design, construction, and operations and facility management; preparation of capital and expense budgets and benchmarking process, and working experience with international green building certifications (LEED, WELL, and Fitwel).
Her knowledge of NYC Local Law 97 to achieve carbon neutrality supports her commitment to converting buildings to net zero carbon by 2050 and transparent reporting through GRESB or other frameworks.
Professional Experience
Emily is a Senior Project Manager with more than 23 years of industry experience. She joined SOCOTEC in 2021, bringing extensive expertise in project management and green building certification. Prior to SOCOTEC, Emily held various positions at Perkins&Will, Gensler, and other leading architectural firms, where she managed projects and supported sustainable building initiatives.
